About TTWS
Our Beginning
TTWS began as IDR Ticket to Work Program in 2002 when the Social Security Administration rolled out the program. With generous financial support from Integrated Disability Resources’ founders and a talented and large dedicated staff, we grew into a strong national presence. In 2006 IDR, a third party administrator for some of the largest insurance companies in the business, changed hands. The IDR ticket division came under ownership of the Director at the time, Steven Sachs, PhD. and changed its name to Ticket to Work Services.
Today TTWS continues operating much as it had at IDR, as a leading national, telephonic employment network for much of the country from our beautiful headquarters in the historic Simsbury, Connecticut. By appointment, we welcome ticket holders to come visit us. If that is not possible, our knowledgeable and friendly staff are available to answer your questions and help decide if we are the right employment network for you.
